Bangkok police launch “Don’t Forget” cold case campaign

Bangkok police have launched a campaign to remind investigators not to give up on cold case files.

Metropolitan Police Commissioner Police Lieutenant General Winai Thongsong presided over the announcement of the program called “Don’t Forget,” TANN reported.

Currently there are as many as 40,000 cold cases – from robbery to rape to murder – that haven’t been solved in the Thai capital.

Police printed out posters of the 300 most wanted suspects that will be displayed around police stations and communities.

The public is urged to report information about unsolved cases to the police through their 191 PO Box in Rongmuang.
