MRT services are scheduled to go ahead as normal as northern floods flow into central Bangkok, but three stations will be closely monitored: Phahonyothin, Lat Phrao, and Ratchadaphisek.
Bangkok Metro Public Company Limited (BMCL) Operations Department Director Chartchai Praditpong said MRT services will continue running but some exits may be closed, TAN reported.
Streets are already flooded around the Phahonyotin, Lat Phrao, and Ratchadaphisek stations. Flood barriers able to hold back two meters of water have been built at many of the stations, TAN said.
