Bangkok gov: Riverside residents should prepare for rising water

Bangkok Governor Sukhumbhand Paribatra said in his morning briefing today Oct. 25 that his main concern right now was the height of the Chao Phraya River, which is expected to break records today.

The water level could rise to 2.35 to 2.40 meters, TAN reported.

People living along the Chao Phraya River should be especially careful, he said, and added that residents should move to evacuation centers if they are not confident in their safety.
