Bangkok 29th most expensive city in Asia

Bangkok was recently found to be the 29^th most expensive city in Asia for “international assignees” by global consulting firm ECA International.

Bangkok dripped from 17^th in last year’s list – in the global ranking of most expensive cities it came in at number 163.

Tokyo was found to be the most expensive city in Asia (and the world). Beijing rose from 8^th to 5^th most expensive city in Asia, while Shanghai rose from 9^th to 6^th. Singapore dropped from 6^th to the 8^th place on the list and Hong Kong dropped from 7^th to 9^th.
