At 12am today, police found the body of Kitti Pinngam, a 56-year-old Appeals Court judge, in his bedroom at his house on Suksawat Road, Soi 30 Yak 10 in the Thung Khru District.
Police discovered Kitti with a gunshot wound to his head and a 9mm pistol beside him. Sakuntala Kunasri, Kitti’s 57-year-old wife, told police that she had gone out to run some errands before coming back at 9:30pm and discovering the body.
An initial police investigation stated that stress might have precipitated his suicide. Police found a letter Kitti had written to doctor, which read, “Stress. Depression. Have a cure?”
According to INN, police will summon all his family members for questioning and send his body to Siriraj Hospital for autopsy.
