The American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) in Thailand is holding a cleaning day at a school in Pathum Thani on Saturday, Dec. 17. Details from AMCHAM are below:
Join us for the AMCHAM School Cleaning Day on Saturday, December 17th from 9-12 am. Providing a safe and clean classroom is a great present to give to 273 primary school students during this holiday season. Bring your friends and/or co-workers with you and help those in need! Wat Bod Bavorndhammakitwittaya School inPathumthani is one of many schools that experienced first-hand the effects of such natural disaster. Located alongside the river, Wat Bod was flooded on August 24. The school was submerged under two meters of water. It has been three months, and the school has yet to recover from its broken floors, dirt-covered playgrounds, mold on the classroom walls. We are going to help Wat Bod and its students by properly cleaning its classrooms. Cleaning tools and supplies will be provided.
