UPDATE:
Elizabeth Briel, an American artist living in Bangkok, and her British husband were victims of the attack. Briel has her account of the awful ordeal on her webpage. Apparently, the liquid was thrown from the BTS pedestrian overpass onto her and her husband while they were near Robinson’s. She was hit in the head by the liquid, but her husband was unfortunately hit in the eyes. After a visit to Bumrungrad, it was determined that he’ll still be able to see.
