ABAC poll: 87 per cent don’t trust FROC announcements

Nearly 90 percent of respondent’s to an Assumption university ABAC poll said they were confused by announcements from the Flood Relief Operations Command about potential flooding in Bangkok.

Assumption surveyed 415 people on Oct. 17 and 19, MCOT reported.

87 percent said they did not trust information from the FROC and 86 percent said the FROC did not provide clear information as to whether their homes would be flooded. Over 50 percent said they were not confident in police ability to prevent theft and crime, according to ABAC poll director Noppadon Kannika.

Poll participants gave the FROC an average score of 3.6 out of 10 for their announcements, and a lower grade of 3.08 on their warning system.
