500,000 meth pills seized

At 2:30pm today, narcotics suppression police announced the arrest of one Thai man and two Muser tribesmen who were caught in possession of 500,000 methamphetamine pills.

Police said that they busted 44-year-old Suchart Aonlae, 25-year-old Porlu Wanakasemsuk and 24-year-old Jayong Saelor while the trio was traveling in a grey Toyota sedan. Police discovered bags full of rugs after pulling the car over. The dealers were reportedly heading toward Nakhon Pathom to distribute the meth to local drug gangs.

The criminals admitted to their offense, saying that they had taken the tablets from a Red Wa drug production base on the Thai-Myanmar border and that they were paid THB40,000 for each delivery.

Dailynews reported that Suchart, Porlu and Jayong were charged with possession and supply of a class one drug.
