A 17-year-old boy was shot to death last night on Ram Intra Soi 109, in Bangkok’s Bang Chan district.
The youth sustained no fewer than 10 bullet wounds. More than twenty bullet casings were discovered near his motorcycle, which was with him at the scene.
The Bangkok Post reports that the youth’s death might have resulted from an altercation he had with a Burmese man over a gambling dispute.
Shortly before the youth’s murder, a witness saw him being pursued on his motorbike by a black car with no license plates.
Naiyawat Padermchit, Metropolitan Police Division 4 commander, said an inquiry was being made into the incident.
