After two cadets fell to their deaths during a parachute exercise in March, the students yesterday sang a rock tune to calm their nerves.
Yesterday’s jump was the first training session since the tragic accident that cost two students their lives because their parachutes did not open.
The training was held in Prachuap Khiri Khan province, with Pol. Gen. Adul Singkaew, Royal Thai Police Commander, accompanying the students on the plane to show support.
Horrified by the last accident, three cadets opted out of the training.
The nervous cadets decided to sing a rock song called “Sang Sud Tai,” by Bodyslam before jumping out the plane, Sanook reported.
