Nature to ‘shine’ in abstraction at Bridge

The natural is taken to abstraction at “Shine,” a new exhibition opening at Bridge Art Space.

After contributing to La Fete with an exhibition along with a French exchange student, Kanjana Chonsiri’s fascination with natural forms continues. Through lines and colors, her exhibition will express the natural phenomena from her childhood in Phuket with organic, aquatic coastal environments overlapping with sea, sky, rocks, sand, shells and twigs.

“I want my art to be like a mirror to the will and the imagination of those who have been watching the abstraction of nature.” Kanjana said.

Entry is free. The open reception starts at 7pm, Aug. 7 and the exhibition runs through Sept. 4.
