A family in Chonburi was shocked and sickened when one of the cheap cushions they’d been using for the last two years began to fray. What they found inside was shredded diapers and sanitary pads instead of polyester filling.

Brother and sister Neramit and Chalinee Changlao got a peek inside just one of the fraying cushions but, when they saw what was inside, they checked all four pillows. The cushions, purchased at local Sri Racha market for just THB50 (USD1.47) each, were all filled with the same disgusting contents.

They were completely grossed out to think they had been sitting and sleeping on the nasty pillows for the last few years, with their heads and mouths on the atrocious filling.

The worst part of the story is that, they could not be sure if the pads and diapers had been used before they had been shredded.

However, since both sanitary pads and baby diapers are expensive in Thailand—much pricier than cheap polyester pillow filling—chances are, they had been used.

Chalinee took to Facebook to share the gross experience and warn others not to buy such cheap items since they might not be safe.
