Authorities are searching for a 23-year-old man who escaped on motorbike after he himself was pursued by a guard for allegedly chasing and scaring a woman working out at the Institute of Physical Education, Udon Thani.
A woman ran screaming out of the school’s stadium at around 5am on Monday, according to security guard Boonsin Supo. She called for protection from a naked man giving pursuit.
When the naked man spotted Boonsin, he reportedly rushed to his motorbike parked by the football field and attempted to put on his pants.
Yet he was too slow. Boonsin caught up with the suspected perp and pulled down his pants to prevent his escape. After all, who would ride off on a scooter sans pants?
Not expecting the unexpected, Boonsin was surprised when the man nonetheless hopped on his bike sped off, pantsless.
The serious flaw in his otherwise allegedly ingenious criminal plan? Leaving his driver’s license inside his pants.
The suspect was identified as 23-year-old Pollawat, but police withheld his last name.
Authorities went looking for Pollawat online and found his Twitter account, which the man reportedly used to persuade others to get naked in public, Sanook reported.
