TODAY IN PATTAYA – A naked American man reportedly took a Thai woman hostage in a South Pattaya 7-11 early this morning.
Police were called to the convenience store on Pratamnuk Road and were able to arrest the nude and confused man who was holding Khun Sirirat, 38, a cashier at a Walking Street bar.
She said that she was walking home when the naked American grabbed her neck and dragged her into the 7-11. When she tried to free herself from his grips, the man punched her in the face and knocked out her tooth.
Police said that the man appeared to be intoxicated, and that he may have been drugged without his knowledge in his hotel room. They help him over night at Pattaya Police Station and the investigation is ongoing.
