Come Monday, will you be going down? Don’t worry, Bangkok’s got you covered.
The MRT subway system will increase its trips to handle more travelers Monday as they expect at least 100,000 commuters will escape difficult traffic to take the subway, officials announced today.
Usually handling 200,000 passengers per day, the MRT might extend their operating hours to 2am if there is sufficient demand Monday.
Also, troops of soldiers will guard stations close to the protest areas: Silom, Paholyothin, and Sukhumvit, Khaosod reported.
