The British woman whose family reported missing since Tuesday morning, was found at a coffee shop in Krabi around 11am today.
Grace Taylor, 21, from Dorset, was reportedly found by local police this morning at Black Canyon coffee shop inside Krabi International Airport, but walked away and refused to speak with the officers.
In a report by Khaosod, when approached by officers, Grace instead walked outside the terminal and blew a whistle, perplexing other passengers at the scene.
According to Pol.Snr.Sgt.Maj. Somphi Kongduang, Grace said she did not need help and demanded to speak with a female officer.
The report described the tourist as “mentally unstable.” Grace was detained by police who said they will connect her with her family.
Her mother Sam shared a photo of her daughter on Facebook yesterday after Grace did not board her flight home that morning. Sam wrote that the last time Grace contacted her family, the tourist was “very stressed and frightened,” adding that people were trying to hurt her.
There has been no comment from Grace’s family over whether police have reached out to them about having Grace in custody.
