A freak accident at a Ratchaburi temple killed a woman making merit yesterday.
Savitree Plookboonsong was on her way to feed the monks of Wat Nong Hoi and about to exit the lift on the temple’s third level when the elevator’s cable snapped, sending it plummeting to the basement level.
Savitree, 28, died in the fall, according to Bangkok Post.
