Meatball man claims the fame of Thailand’s top ‘Voice’

Korat’s going to have to find a new guy to roll its meatballs.

After months of battling for the record deal and ultimate cash prize of THB1 million, Rangsan “Songkran” Panyaruen, a 23-year-old meatball trader from Nakhon Ratchasima province was voted the second winner of The Voice Thailand on Sunday.

The rocker showed his powerful voice and won Thailand’s hearts with the song “Rak Young Kong Mai Por” in the final round:

Wanlika “Tangmo” Keswapithak was named the first runner-up:

Kittinan “Kit” Chinsamran, one of the final four contestants, sang “Bot Rien.”

Kritsada “Nat” Phisetpattanakul, a finalist performed the song “I believe I can fly.”
