The Program for Appropriate Technology in Health, more popularly known as PATH, has issued a warning against individuals using its name to conduct a phone survey on masturbation.
In a Nation report, PATH, a nonprofit organization providing sex education for teenagers, warned teachers and the general public about thesurvey, which is supposedly being conducted to gather data for the World Health Organization.
The scam involves calling PATH-member teachers and getting the names and phone number of their teenage students.
PATH reiterated that there is no such survey and that they did not sanction the collection of personal information of teenagers.
