When Yu Gee Won’s bike and credit card were stolen in Bangkok, the South Korean national decided to deal with the problem proactively.
First, he went to the South Korean embassy, where, he reports, he failed to make headway with embassy staff. After being rebuffed, Won decided that he would make embassy employees pay attention to his grievances by scaling the wall of the embassy.
The plan worked (sort of), as police soon descended on the scene to arrest Won and cart him off to the police station. Khaosod reports that an embassy employee accompanied Won, so we guess that counts as a victory.
