This morning, a man was rushed to a hospital after stabbing himself with a knife in Central Mansion on Soi Lat Phrao 122 in the Wang Thonglang district.
Thiwa Burinthraphibal, whose age was estimated at between 30 and 35 years, was found in his apartment lying in a pool of blood with his organs protruding from his belly, the result of self-inflicted wounds. Officials said that Thiwa, with a five-inch-long knife in hand, threatened to attack himself if anyone tried to help him.
It took officials 30 minutes to calm Thiwa down. Paramedics carried him in an ambulance to Lat Phrao Hospital for an emergency operation. Police said that they also found drug paraphenalia in Thiwa’s room. They will await the results of Thiwa’s blood tests before deciding whether or not to press drug charges against him, Dailynews reported.
