A family feud ended in gunplay yesterday with a man shooting his relative-neighbor after she dumped her cat’s litter box at his house.
When Wanchai Somchai returned to his Koh Lan home to find sandy poop on his property and his wife well into a row with Kwanruen Janpad, the situation escalated dangerously, eventually prompting Wanchai to retrieve his gun.
One thing led to another and Kwanruen, 51, was left with a bullet in her stomach.
Wanchai must have fired off a number of rounds, as four other relatives who attempted to intervene were injured when bullets grazed their legs.
Wanchai made a run for it. He tried fleeing the Chonburi province island in a boat, but some locals had an even faster boat and overtook him in the middle of the ocean, Daily News reported. He’s now in police custody.
