A 42-year-old electrician was found dead this morning, likely due to heat stroke.
As Thailand wilts under some seriously miserable heat, Suriya Kasisoon’s body was found dead by a coworker this morning in Ang Thong province after he’d worked outside all day in the heat Monday.
According to colleague Sakhon Inthawong, Suriya traveled from Sakon Nakhon to work at a power plant construction project. He said Suriya appeared sick and had complained about the heat after they finished working and returned to the room they were staying.
Sakhon woke up to find Suriya dead this morning.
Police said there was no sign of struggle and believe Suriya had likely suffered serious heat stroke the day prior. His body will be sent for autopsy, Khaosod reported.
