A Thai woman captured a horrific moment when countless cockroaches began climbing the wall beside her as she slurped noodles at a street-side stall in Chonburi on Sunday.

Facebook user Kapong Pang was praised by netizens for her “bravery” to have lived and told the tale. Not only due to the cockroaches, but also the rats and centipedes that all exited the flooded drain beneath the shop on the rainy afternoon.

The photos were reportedly taken at Chonburi’s Phanat Nikhom Market.

Despite describing the event as the “most f*cked up dining experience” in her life, Kapong Pang said she stayed and finished her noodles.

“Sorry for using profanity. While I was eating my delicious noodles, an army of cockroaches, rats and centipedes crawled out of the drains. I was disgusted, but I was hungry,” she wrote.

“I kept on eating! Who cares! I ate while watching cockroaches on the wall. So freaking delicious!”

The photos were shared more than 15,000 times and featured on national news programs since they were posted on Sunday.

Kapong Pang later explained last night that she felt sorry for the street vendor’s reputation and described the experience as an inevitable incident. Usually, there are no cockroaches roaming free on the wall, it was just that one time when the city suffered from heavy rain.
