Before they embraced the eternal state of bliss that is marriage, first they had to shatter the dreams of 78 other lovers.
A wedding ceremony at the Dusit Thani Bangkok, honeymoon package on the Maldives, and some fat diamond rings were up for grabs to the fastest of 40 engaged couples on Saturday.
Dressed in their wedding day finery, the brides and grooms raced in the “Eazy Running of the Brides 2” organized by Eazy FM 105.5 and the Tourism Authority of Thailand. The event turned Rod Fai Park into a battle of love the suited-up grooms and dressed-up brides running in sneakers for their dream wedding.
The glory went to Chatchai Roongrat, the groom who ran fast and grabbed the prize for his bride-to-be.
