Liverpool FC were greeted by hundreds of fans as they landed at the private jet terminal at Don Muang airport around 9pm last night.

The visit marks four years since the Reds were last in Bangkok and manager Brendan Rodgers wants to continue Liverpool’s unbeaten pre-season run and not disappoint the club’s fans in Thailand.
“The players who went on the last tour to Thailand are really excited about going back. I’ve heard a lot about the passion and dedication of the fans in Thailand and we plan to bring them some great football” he said.

Brendan Rodgers and team captain Steven Gerrard will pay respect to His majesty the King’s portrait at Siriraj Hospital while other representatives of the team will visit children at Bangkok School for the Blind, and open a clinic in Suphan Buri.
