An anti-Manchester United banner seen at the Liverpool vs Thailand match yesterday has caused outrage.
The banner mentions the 1958 Munich air disaster which claimed the lives of eight Manchester United players.
The poorly written message on the banner reads: “Alex Ferguson. Out working. Go to the Hell. 20 = โกง (cheat). Munich 58”.
Liverpool fans at the match last night and online today have been quick to distance themselves from the insensitive banner.
