While persistent drought conditions have made for less runoff and lower-than-usual flood anxiety, a new flood-warning and monitoring app is now available.
The Water Watch and Monitoring System, available now for iOS with an Android version to come, offers a deluge of information about conditions throughout the country.
The application provides geographical information directly from the Royal Irrigation Department. It displays current water levels in major rivers and dams across Thailand, with live streams from video feeds from different sites.
To soak in more hydrological sexiness including predictive models, check out the year-old Flood Risk Information System online.
