LinkedIn launches Thai version of its popular professional networking site

LinkedIn, the social network for employers, job-seekers and professionals is now available in Thai.

The 11-year-old site, which allows users to post their work histories, build a network of professionals, make recommendations and seek introductions to prospective contacts, announced the new feature yesterday.

With more than 250 million members around the world, including 40 million in Japane and the Asia Pacific region, LinkedIn was already available in 20 languages. About 66 million of its users are in the United States.

The company went public in January 2011, trading on the New York Stock Exchange as “”LNKD.”

According to LinkedIn, its main features include:

· Build your professional identity online and stay in touch with colleagues and classmates.

· Discover professional opportunities, business deals, and new ventures.

· Get the latest news, inspiration, and insights you need to be great at what you do.
