Let them eat cake: Charity collecting sweets for homeless people

While the homeless may appreciate your Mama Tom Yum and canned sardines, what they really need to eat is some cake – or cookies.

The well-nourished are invited to help sweeten up the meals of homeless families and disadvantaged youth by donating snacks for the Mirror Foundation’s “Food for Friends” project.

And yes, they’ve specifically requested sweet items such as cookies, biscuits and cream-filled wafers to be sent to feed homeless residents and children in economically depressed areas.

For those out there with baking skills, you are encouraged to put your talent in a good use. Got a dentistry background? Please stand by.

Mail your snacks to:

         Mirror Foundation

191, Vibhavadi 62, Vibhavadi-Rangsit road, Bangkhen, Laksi district, Bangkok 10210

Want to donate a bunch of items? Call 02-973-2236-7 Ext. 0 for pick-up service.
