Pattaya police said today they’ve arrested a Moroccan woman for stealing three luxury watches from her Kuwaiti one-night stand as the man slept after having sex at his condo last night.
Talal Sabah Alsabah, 22, told police he met the Moroccan woman at a Walking Street bar, and after what was a no doubt scintillating conversation, asked her to come back to his condo.
After the sexy time, he fell asleep, then woke up to find that the woman had fled not only with his Rolex, but two Audemars Piguet as well. Police said the three watches were worth a total THB500,000 (about US$16,000).
He alerted the police, who checked the CCTV and found the woman, 32-year-old Rabia Zrideg, strolling around Pattaya Mueang 8 School, according to Pattaya Online News.
The pair reunited at a press conference this morning, where Alsabah helpfully identified the thief… by pointing at her for the reporters to see.
Police said that they caught Zrideg with the three watches in her possession and that she confessed to stealing them.
The punishment for theft is a three-year prison term maximum and/or a fine of up to THB6,000 (US$192).
