The royal palace announced today that former Royal Consort Sireenat Wongvajirapakdi has been restored to her position and returned all the attendant titles as she had done nothing wrong.

Nearly a year after those titles were stripped on accusations she had overstepped her role and sought to usurp the queen, King Vajiralongkorn ordered that order by annulled in a bulletin bearing his signature.

She vanished from public life last October just two months after she became the first royal consort named by a Thai king in nearly a century.
