The cuteness of King Kong the Puppy, an Instagram celebrity dog, clearly does not help his owner get away with wrongdoing, especially when it comes to food hygiene. Netizens are heatedly debating whether or not it is appropriate for King Kong’s owner to carry the dog into Bangkok restaurants.
A thread on Pantip.com, Thailand’s most celebrated forum website, opened a dialogue with a photo of King Kong and his owner in MK Restaurant and questioned if the Sukiyaki chain should allow pets inside. In fact, on the Instagram account @kingkong_puppy, which boasts over 4,200 followers, the canine has been seen in numerous eateries, including a fast food restaurant, a café, a steak house and a Korean BBQ shop. He was also spotted in a beauty clinic.
The photo that outraged Pantip commentators the most showcases King Kong in a Swensens ice cream shop, licking water from a cup intended for humans.
