Goodbye flyover, hello traffic!
The flyover at Kasetsart Junction will be demolished starting next week to make way for a new Skytrain.
That takes us one step closer to extending the BTS green line from Mo Chit terminal to Pathumthani.
The demolition will take two months and officials will be closing two lanes — one outbound, one inbound — on Paholyothin Road starting Sep 8 so they can start putting the structure for the train tracks.
The 19-kilometer-long rail route will have 16 stations and is expected to open in 2020, Daily News reported.
