To provide some oxygen to Thailand’s suffering tourism sector, the military junta might lift the curfew in several provinces.
Claiming the political situation was now stable and free of unrest, junta spokesman Col. Nattawat Chancharoen said they are considering whether to repeal it at some tourist destinations, according to NNT.
The announcement came after a rising tide of complaints from various industries that the imposition of curfew was causing losses.
The junta did not specify which sites were under consideration.
