Footage of a man jumping off the back of a motorcycle and avoiding death seconds before the vehicle was rear-ended by a bus went viral on Facebook yesterday.

The dash-cam video, posted by Facebook user Nat Labour, captured an accident at Bang Kapi junction, when Bus No. 207 went out of control and crashed into the back of a motorcycle and another bus.

The passenger on the back of the motorcycle sees the bus lose control and dismounts in the middle of traffic. Not only does he avoid getting hit by the out-of-control bus, by what looks like inches, he also very narrowly avoids getting hit by a white Honda as well. Then the lucky guy is seen running off to the roadside after avoiding death twice.

His female driver, however, didn’t jump off the bike but, luckily, wasn’t seriously injured as she stood up on the road after her motorcycle crashed. In a sweet moment, after the danger has been avoided he runs back into the street to give her a big hug and help her pick the bike up.

Nat Labour later commented that the bus’s brake had stopped working as many netizens expressed their concerns about road safety.
