iPhone 7 launched in Thailand today

Apple has launched the controversial iPhone 7 in Thailand this morning and major mobile operators have also offered special promotions, starting at THB18,900.

The iPhone 7 (4.7″ screen) and iPhone 7 Plus (5.5″ screen) come in five colors: black, silver, gold, rose gold and the new shade, jet black.

Apple has faced controversy over their removal of the headphone jack on the iPhone 7 in order to offer a waterproof handset. However, the new phone comes with a 12-megapixel camera and optical image stabilization, an impressive upgrade from the camera in iPhone 6s.

The official prices for iPhone 7 are as follows: THB26,000 for 32GB; THB30,500 for 128GB; THB34,500 for 256GB.

For iPhone 7 Plus, the prices are THB31,500 for 32GB; THB35,500 for 128GB, and THB39,500 for 256GB.

The cheapest deal for the iPhone 7 is from TrueMove H, which only sells iPhone 7 with 32GB memory at THB18,900, but the deal is only available with a contract that dictates that you register for a monthly mobile package of at least THB1,099.
