Introducing ‘Long’ the airport link cat employee

The latest trend in city kitty living for the stray cat demographic is leaving the quiet life of the temples for the clamor of rail stations.

Another handsome boy cats of the internet should watch out for, “Long” or “Lost” in English, has been featured on Facebook of none other than Minister of Transportation Chadchart Sitthipunt, who snapped a picture of Long cat (not to be confused with Longcat) sitting peacefully in the ticket booth at the Lat Krabang airport link station.

“This morning I was at the Lat Krabang airport link station to observe the rail systems, and I found a special employee in the ticket booth,” Chartchart wrote. “His name is Long. First, I thought he was a stuffed animal, but he’s a real cat who sits very still indeed.”

The name suggests Long’s previously tough life as a stray cat, but clearly the dude is doing better as he has been hired by the transport minister himself and dressed up in a fancy uniform. Actually, he looks a little embarrassed by the green, yellow and blue striped tunic.

We hope the airport link staff will soon start a fan page for Long and fill the internet with even more cat pictures. After Asoke cat, we must say Long has the best potential yet to be cat celeb of the year.
