Interpol Red Notice to be issued for Yingluck

The Royal Thai Police are now requesting a Red Notice for ex-prime minister Yingluck Shinawatra by Interpol.

Officials are seeking credible information that Yingluck is in the UK and searching for responsibility over the former PM’s escape and whereabouts, according to Thai PBS.

Meanwhile, police commissioner Pol. Col. Chairith Anurit is still being questioned about his role as the driver in Yingluck’s escape.

The team is waiting for results for the DNA test for the Toyota in question, police will consider criminal and disciplinary actions against the officers that may have acted as drivers or accomplices, said the deputy commissioner.
