A Thai woman has sparked a storm of reactions ranging from outrage to sympathy to amusement after she posted photos of herself soaking up urine from the driver’s seat of her car on Facebook.
It was her own urine. The woman, as she explained in her post, had gotten caught in a Bangkok traffic jam for so long that she had been forced to wet her pants to relieve herself.
Some of the pictures showed a dark patch on the car seat, while others showed her soaking up the liquid with toilet paper.
After wetting herself the woman went to a well-known shopping mall in the Latphrao neighbourhood of Bangkok in order to buy some dry trousers, she explained.
Some of the users who saw the post thought the woman’s actions were “cute” and sent her messages of encouragement.
But the majority of people on the social network attacked her and called her an attention seeker.
They noted that despite claiming in her post that she was worried about being mocked for what she had done, she went ahead and posted the pictures for the whole world to see anyway, Sanook reported.
