Tech school gangbangers, dek waen motoracers and monks from a new age sect will play key roles Wednesday in a plan to rush the Democracy Monument in Bangkok.

That’s according to the organizers of “Storm Democracy Monument, They Can’t Stop All Of Us,” a Facebook event sure to elicit deja vu from anyone who’s gone near the internet since it went radioactive with memes about a similar call to raid a US military site.

Dhammakaya Monks will buff speed and evasion aura for Naruto Runners. Then the Naurto runners will storm from both side in to the monument. After the storm begin for a second. Vape Cloud Creators will create smoke from their vape to blind polices and soldiers vision,” reads part of a strategy laid out Saturday in typo-laced English.

The event is more about trotting out Thai net inside jokes, and many references would be lost on the those not steeped in the kingdom’s online culture. Details of the attack plan include references to a popular nerd YouTuber, Pubg mobile gamers and magic nuns from Wat Paknam who turned nuclear bombs away from Bangkok during World War II (deflecting tear gas and grenades).

As of Tuesday morning, 490 people had indicated they were “going” while about 2,000 were “interested.”

“Why don’t we storm the parliament instead? I kinda want to see real dinosaurs,” wrote user Chanon Wattanakul. “Dinosaur” is Thai net shorthand for undemocratic figures from the military and conservative establishment. There’s great symbolic value to the Democracy Monument, which has been the stage for launching past uprisings that have brought down authoritarian regimes. Aware of that history, soldiers and police in recent years have blocked all access to the site when pro-democracy protests have been planned in the vicinity.

Another user said rushing the US Air Force site in Nevada might be more productive.

“We storm Area51 because there are aliens there,” wrote Apiratchai Lakkum. “BUT why do we have to storm Democracy monument if there is no democracy at first.”
