This morning, a female newborn was found dead in a wastebasket inside a restroom at the Southern Bus Terminal on Baromrajchonnee Road in the Taling Chan district.
The body, with umbilical chord still attached, was wrapped together with blood-covered underwear inside a plastic bag, and dumped in the restroom stall farthest from the door.
A Bus Terminal employee told police that she saw three to four pregnant women using the restroom during her shift. Taling Chan police will review CCTV footage in order to identify the mother, INN reported.
