When voices go unheard, it often falls to artists to step up and give them voice.
In Thong Udompol’s “The Howl,” those voices belong to the uncountable dogs abandoned, kidnapped, abused, tortured, starved, skinned and cooked in Thailand. His social commentary on the issue will be displayed next week at Chamchuri Art Gallery.
