Housekeeper steals boss’ fancy stuff to wear on Facebook

A 48-year-old housekeeper was arrested Saturday for stealing over THB2-million worth of high-end clothes and accessories from her boss’s luxury Bangkok condo to model on Facebook.

Police arrested Supicha Puttharaksa from her home in the capital’s Bueng Kum district, where they found evidence of goods stolen from employer Ratchanee Tarillit, including nine brand-name clothing items, a gold ring and over THB2-million worth of pawn tickets.

The police also found more stolen goods hidden in Supicha’s storage at the victim’s home at Century Heights Condominium in Soi Sukhumvit 23 as well as photos of the housekeeper flaunting the expensive outfits on Facebook.

Supicha told the police she had been working for Ratchanee for five-to-six years and stealing one thing at a time when her boss wasn’t home.

Supicha sold the stolen rings to pay debts and would keep the brand-name clothes to wear and take photos to upload onto Facebook, Kapook reported.
