Are you looking for a fun job that involves walking around in hot pants and strutting your stuff and feeding fried junk food to men?
American junk food chain “Hooters,” which sexualizes the experience of eating fried chicken, will hold an open job interview this Saturday in Bangkok for staff to work at new branches it will open, including one in the Thai capital.
The first Hooters restaurant in Bangkok will open on Soi Sukhumvit 15 in September, followed by another in the Silom area. Meanwhile, the brand also is also expanding to Pattaya, Samui, Chiang Mai and Khon Kaen to make sure all the locals and expats get to enjoy Thai ass fried chicken.
“Hooters girls are glamorous, charismatic ladies with fit bodies,” reads the job post. “So if you are aged 19-29 and think you have the ‘right stuff’ we’d love to see you there!”
It doesn’t detail what that “right stuff” is, but wink, wink, nudge, it would sound creepy and offensive if they actually had to explain it. Which they don’t.

Salary is THB35,000 with tips. Not too shabby. You may even get to teach Buddhist babies the meanings of Christmas and Easter.
The job fair will be held noon to 7pm on Saturday at Four Points in the Sheraton Bangkok.
