‘Homeless’ artist receives much love for painting Miss Universe contestants (VIDEO)

A trans street artist, who is said to be homeless, has been spotted around Bangkok and widely admired for her paintings of Miss Universe contestants.

Since the beauty pageant has been the hottest topic of conversation among locals, the painting driving the internet wild is, of course, the one depicting Miss Thailand, Chalita “Namtarn” Suansane, as she was interviewed by American host Steve Harvey on the stage of Miss Universe.

Another painting posted online was of the final six contestants together.

All we know is that the artist, who calls herself “Aum Patcharapa No. 2,” has been seen painting in several areas of Bangkok including Silom, Asoke, Chatuchak and Old Town.

Just in case you don’t know, Aum Patcharapa is the name of a top-ranked Thai actress.

The latest video of Aum Patcharapa No. 2 was posted on Miss Ladyboy Fan Page, in which she talked about her unexpected fame.

“I didn’t think people would like me this much. I’m not beautiful, but I’m talented. I’m different. I’m unique, as unique as Namtarn,” she said in the video.

Netizens have been raving about her talents and discussing her in depth. One commenter, who claims to know her family, said that the artist ran away from her home in Ubon Ratchathani nearly ten years ago because her family had a hard time accepting that she was trans.

The others express their love and support for Aum Patcharapa No. 2 while the admin of  a popular Facebook page is helping her family to reunite with their long-lost daughter.
