A Mathayom 5 student jumped to his death from the fourth story of a school building in Rayong, after he was caught stealing money from his friends.
The 17-year-old boy, whose name was withheld, reportedly confessed to stealing THB2,000 in cash from his friends. His parents were asked to visit the administration office to be informed about his actions.
Not long after, the boy jumped off the school building and sustained heavy injuries. He was taken to Krungthep Rayong hospital, where he later died, reported Sanook.
Police will investigate and confirm the motive that pushed the boy to jump, Sanook reported.
