Tristan Do, a Thai-French national football player, introduced his girlfriend on his Instagram account over the holiday and left his fangirls with broken hearts.
The 23-year-old defender posted a photo of himself with a gorgeous girl and the caption “My date for my New Year’s party.”
Crying emoji from heartbroken fans flooded the comments section, but they wished the couple well anyway.
Kapook reported that the girl who got the Elephant Warrior’s heart is Singapore-born Bella Widdows, a student at Boston University. She is a frequent guest at SCG Stadium, Do’s current football club, and was seen wearing a national football jersey shirt with Do’s number 19.
Tristan Somchai Do has Thai, Vietnamese and French blood and is a football player born and raised in France, where he started his sports career. He signed with BEC Tero Sasana club in 2014 and joined Thailand’s national team in 2015.
