A 40-year-old Saudi Arabian man was killed today after jumping off the Asoke BTS station platform and into the street.
Hamed Abdullah was rushed to the General Police Hospital but his life could not be saved. Doctors diagnosed him with a broken neck, broken head and other bone fractures throughout his body.
Witnesses told police that they saw Hamed having a heated row with his girlfriend on the BTS train. When the train car stopped at the Asoke station, Hamed ran off and took the leap. The stress during the fight with his girlfriend was allegedly the cause of his suicide, INN reports.
